IT Desktop Support

Provide quick and courteous support for users with regards to incidents and IT Help Desk requests.
Support, install and configure operating systems (PC/MAC).
Imaging and backup/restore of clients PC’s and Server files.
Manage VPN clients, and WiFi Access Points.
Installation, and maintain network / label printers and peripheral equipment.
Meridian and Avaya phones configuration and maintenance.
Perform regular clean-up of computer users’ accounts in Active Directory and Distribution Lists.
Support and troubleshooting Remote Office and Warehouse System Management.
Administer and maintain inventory of all technical equipment, software and supplies.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, excellent organizational and time management skills.
Monitor progress on problem resolution and advise users on status of issue.
Supporting Corporate policies procedures.
Evaluate and recommend new technology.
Document procedures related to the configuration of the work station, application installation, and cell phone setup.
Must have the ability to work independently, Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Technical requirements:

Intermediate to advance knowledge in the configuration/installation/troubleshooting of Windows XP, Windows 7 – 10, MS Server 2003-2016, MS Office 2003 to 2016, Office 365.
Experience of Microsoft office suites (PC and Mac).
Intermediate knowledge in mobile smartphones, iPhone, Galaxy, Blackberry, etc., and printers.
Experience with Adobe products (CS6)
Experience with computer hardware modification and installation.
Experience with cleaning computers that are infected with malware and viruses
Handling remote users (VPN, RDP, VNC etc)
Understanding of network resources, troubleshooting and setup

College (CEGEP) diploma in IT or related field
1 to 2 years of relevant experience
Microsoft Specialist Certification in a current version of Windows is preferred
Bilingualism (French and English)
A+ Certification would be an asset
