Our client, a growing importer of home fashions (bed, bath and kitchen accessories) is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team. The candidate must have previous experience working in sales of home fashions with an already existing customer base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with the VP of Sales with the primary goal of growing sales and adding to our already considerable North America account base.
- Search out and establish relationships with New Major Accounts in Canada and the U.S.
- Develop sales plan strategies and execute them successfully
- Monitoring account progress
- Manage continual new product presentations
- Assist with marketing plans
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Able to work with and understand new systems with ease
- Relevant experience in home fashion sales
- Established contacts with major Canadian and U.S. retail accounts
- General understanding of e-commerce sales
- Excellent at multi-tasking and highly organized
- Awareness of market trends
- Strong follow up skills and the ability to remain undeterred
