Our client, a well established international retail chain of women’s intimate apparel is looking for a District Manager for the Quebec region.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of multiple store locations (approx 11 stores) within the designated region
- Partnering with Store Managers for the delivery of a consistent and positive customer service experience in order to grow top line sales and control expenses
- Ensuring all stores within the region are following merchandising directions and operational activities; complying with all company policies, procedures and directives. Protecting company assets
- Building, developing and promoting successful store teams through effective recruiting, hiring, staffing, coaching and development, consistent leadership, and clear communication. Strong focus on technical training and product knowledge.
- Critically analyzing key metrics and levers on a regular basis to drive top line sales. Identifying opportunities and missed opportunities in each store location
- Executing all company/store initiatives according to established timelines and standards and striving for operational excellence
- Maintaining a strong and genuine customer focus, merchandising effectively to company standards and embracing change
- Supporting and leading stores to deliver sales targets and KPI growth
Qualifications:
- Must possess a true passion for the apparel industry, intimate apparel experience a bonus
- Multi-unit retail/specialty apparel experience
- Proven business acumen and problem solving skills
- Strong employee relations skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbal, with multiple locations remotely
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- 5-7 years in related field experience
- Multi-unit retail/specialty apparel experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s License and car
