Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for the market development in North America as well as on the Canadian market of all the Ladies division brands in line with the company’s calendar strategies and growth objectives.

The Sales Manager must know the market competition and demands to retain customer base and gain market shares.

Duties & Responsibilities

Leading and supporting the sales force (sales rep/agencies) by evaluating and providing sales objectives by territory and by account growth objectives
Assuring and providing each territory updated customer list/data
Controls volume rebate and discount based on annual sales reports and established parameters
Assuring all house accounts support and management
Strategize the territory brand’s positioning and avoid market conflict
Build and strategize to ensure that each brand is in the right environment by respecting the brand essence, the target retail pricing in order to reach the right consumer
Supervising and providing all the necessary portfolio of sales tool and samples kit for each territory
Responsible for the sales force training (product knowledge) and ensures that all selling features are well communicated
Assisting all sales rep/agencies with inquiries an ensure a fluid communication between sales force and HO
Participate and coordinate all marketing activities, bi-annual shows, implementation of new product/ launches, in house showroom events and ensure that all departments involved are aligned and time frame are respected
Establish, plan and respect budgets to ensure marketing targets are met
Ensure to gather sales’ data/ seasonal statistics / com analysis
Chose and select the right products for each activity to maximize the sales results
Establish and communicate promotional calendar in line with retailer’s requests/market promo seasons

Providing and communicating to PD department all the necessary information about market demands, competition, product feed back
to ensure the line direction is adjusted at all time to involve and to support customer needs.
